Hawaiian Tapa design pendant engraved with triangle shapes. Thom's Tapa Designs reflect the traditional Polynesian repeating geometric patterns used in old Polynesia to decorate tapa (kapa). Tapa made from pounded tree bark was primarily used for clothing before it was replaced with modern textiles such as cotton.
